This is a field-based role focused on delivering white-glove onboarding and implementation experiences for upper-market restaurants using the Clover platform.** **As an Onboarding Manager, you’ll be the face of Clover for new restaurant customers, handling everything from on-site POS hardware installation and network setup to manager and staff training, digital product onboarding, and post-installation support. You’ll work closely with internal teams and field partners to ensure every customer has the tools, confidence, and knowledge to thrive with Clover from day one.** **This role is ideal for someone who loves being on the ground with customers, understands the unique challenges of the hospitality industry, and takes pride in building long-term relationships based on trust and expertise. You will be in the field with restaurants 80% of the time (~4 days a week), while the other 20% (~1 day) will be at an assigned Fiserv office.** **What You’ll Do** + **Lead On-Site Installations:** **Manage the full installation of Clover POS systems, including hardware setup, networking configuration, and integration of digital tools such as online ordering, gift cards, and loyalty features.** + **Train Restaurant Teams:** **Deliver comprehensive, in-person training for restaurant owners, managers, and staff. Cover day-to-day system usage, workflows, digital tools, and best practices to drive success from the start.** + **Support Post-Implementation Success:** **Serve as a trusted partner after go-live for 30 days. Provide follow-up visits, troubleshooting, ongoing training, and support to ensure the customer is confident and satisfied with their new system.** + **Build Relationships with Restaurants:** **Deeply understand your customers' unique operations and business goals specific to their restaurant.** + **Build Relationships with Go-To-Market Teams:** **Collaborate with Sales reps in your region to coordinate customer outreach, share insights, and align on customer success strategies.** + **Partner with Cross-Functional Teams:** **Work closely with Support Teams, other Onboarding Managers, and Customer Success Managers to share knowledge, coordinate efforts, and support long-term retention and satisfaction.** + **Support Menu & System Configuration:** **Dedicate a portion of your time to remote pre/post-install set up and configuration, assisting with backend configuration such as menu building, settings, floor plans, and onboarding digital products.** + **Deliver Customer Feedback to Product Teams:** **Act as the voice of the customer by sharing feedback and feature requests that can influence future product development and improve user experience.** + **Travel to Support High-Impact Markets:** **While your home base will be one of five core geographies (NYC, Miami, SF, LA, or Chicago), you’ll also travel to other markets as needed to support installations and ensure national success.** **What You Bring** + **Experience in Restaurant Technology:** **Prior hands-on experience with POS systems, Digital Restaurant Tools, and/or Payment Solutions in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required.** + **Hospitality Knowledge:** **Deep understanding of restaurant operations, workflows, and front- and back-of-house dynamics. Experience in the hospitality industry is a major plus.** + **In-Person Implementation & Training Experience:** **Comfortable working face-to-face with restaurant teams and leading engaging, informative training sessions.** + **Technical Savvy & Problem Solving:** **Ability to troubleshoot networking, hardware, and system setup issues on the fly.
