The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing operations and support in Azure and GCP environments, ensuring secure, stable, and efficient cloud infrastructure. Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift is a significant plus. This is a mission-critical 24/7 operations role requiring deep technical expertise and reliability. Key Responsibilities: * Administer and support cloud infrastructure, focusing on Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). * Design and manage secure cloud networking architectures, including VPCs, VNets, subnets, routing, firewalls, and VPNs. * Implement and maintain cloud security controls, including IAM, policies, encryption, and access management. * Monitor and troubleshoot network and security issues in real-time. * Operate and support Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters, including configuration, scaling, and updates. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure deployment and operations of applications. * Support database security practices, including encryption, role-based access control, and audit logging. * Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for security and availability issues. * Work as part of a rotational 24x7 support team and ensure high availability of services. **Required technical and professional expertise** Required Qualifications: * 10-15 years of hands-on experience in system/cloud administration with a strong focus on networking and security. * Proven experience managing cloud environments in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). * Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, etc.). * Expertise in cloud security best practices, IAM, data protection, and threat detection. * Experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift in production environments. * Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates. * Understanding of database security principles and compliance requirements. * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in cloud-native environments **Preferred technical and professional experience** Preferred Qualifications: * Certifications in Azure or GCP (e.g., Azure Security Engineer Associate, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer). * Certifications such as CKA, CKS, RHCSA, or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift. * Knowledge of SIEM, log aggregation, and cloud-native security tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Chronicle). * Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR).
