**The Opportunity**
Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Cloud Solution Architect to join our Data Platform Architecture team. In this role, you will work closely with Data Engineering, Data Product Management and Data Science teams to meet data requirements of various initiatives in Hyatt.
As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will work on the creation of the Hyatt Enterprise Data Platform. As a valued member of Data Platform Architecture team, you will work on shaping and building new analytical solutions to deploy in support of our internal clients
You’ll help to create solutions to drive the next wave of innovation. You’ll recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premises, Cloud-based, and hybrid resources.
You’ll work with our engineering, architecture, and migration teams to inform strategy and architecture design. This is an opportunity to stay on top of the latest Cloud resources as you lead efforts to design/prototype using multiple techniques and new technologies. You’ll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like automation, scripting, and containerization while developing critical systems for several of our internal clients. **The Role**
· Experience with data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift or similar.
· Provides expert guidance with projects to ensure that their processes and deliverables align with the Hyatt target state architecture.
· Design and implement the solutions with hands on experience and deliver infrastructure, support rand access as governed and defined
· Design and develop enterprise data solutions based on architecture and standards leveraging leading architecture practices and advanced data technologies.
· Define the application infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code approach using Terraform.
· Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the development life cycle and focus on delivery of quality solutions.
· Lead technical discussions to share knowledge and build consensus amongst engineers to build the best solutions possible.
· Maintain strong partnerships with technological suppliers; understand and advise on their roadmaps and product evolution.
· Maintain application DevOps processes and deployment pipelines to implement and
support application and feature releases.
· Implement solutions for data migration, data delivery and ML pipelines.
· Implement Identity Access Management Roles and policies.
· Build resilient, reliable, performant and secure Data Platform and Applications.
· Work closely with application development and data engineer teams on day-to-day tasks along with project planning and implementation.
· Automate deployments of AWS services and BI Applications.

**Qualifications:**
**Experience Required:**
· 8 years of experience within the field of application/platform engineering or related technical work including business intelligence, analytics.
· 6 years of experience with AWS Senior Cloud Data Engineering, management, maintenance, or architecting, implementing best practices and industry standards.
· Strong knowledge and established experience with AWS services including but not limited to: S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Cloud Formation, Kinesis, Data Pipelines, EMR, Step Functions, VPC, IAM, and Security Groups.
· Experience with DB technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora, AWS RDS, MongoDB, Redis).
· Experience with GCP and AI/ Gemini models
· Strong experience with GCP provision Throughput and LLM model supports
· Experience with all the latest AI trends and hands-on experience on the LLM model support and CICD support
· Strong understanding of cloud serverless solutions (AWS…S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, Event Bridge)
· Experience working with cloud database services (RDS, DynamoDB, Document DB).
· Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS/ECS/Fargate).
· Experience with cloud build and deployment tools (Serverless, AWS SAM, GitLab).
· Experience working with infrastructure-as-code (IaaC) and cloud deployment languages (Serverless, CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform).
· Exposure to AI/LLM platforms and modern AI frameworks
· Experience integrating AI workloads with cloud data platforms
· Familiarity with GCP AI services and Gemini models is a plus
· Base understanding of cloud services and infrastructure (VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, EFS, IAM, CW).
· Experience designing event-driven and service-oriented solution architectures.
· Experience with CI/CD tools, pipelines, and scripting for automation. (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline tools, Cloud formation and terraform).
· High degree of knowledge in IAM Roles and Policies
· Strong knowledge configuring AWS cloud monitoring and alerts for cloud resource availability.
· Strong scripting experience using PowerShell and/or Python.
· Strong technical skills to work independently without any hand holding or help from other team members
· Lead projects end-end from architecture, solutioning, cyber and security reviews and implementation
· High degree of knowledge in PaaS and SaaS application performance.
Understand enterprise level application architecture diagrams and IT security requirements.
**Experience Preferred:**
· BA or BS degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
· Experience with large scale enterprise streaming services such as Kafka.
· Experience with Kubernetes and Docker containers or AWS Faregate.
· Experience implementing applications with both Windows and Linux server OS
· Experience with networking, security groups, or policy management in relation to Cloud resources across multiple operating systems, including UNIX, Linux, or Windows
· Advance Computer Science degree.

The salary range for this position is $135,000 -160,000. This position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus.
_The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate._
