As a Server Qualification Engineer, you will qualify new servers and specialized hardware for Google's data centers. The Hardware Testing Engineering team ensures that equipment is reliable. In the Research and Development (R&D) lab, you will plan for and execute effective tests for the entire global team. Working closely with design engineers, you will give input on designs to improve our hardware until you're sure it meets Google's standards of quality, reliability, and security. Maintain and improve the qualification process. + Work with key partners to ensure testing to meet Google standards. + Use common interface (e.g., PCIe/CXL/Memory/I2C/I3C/SPI/eSPI), test methodology, and tool development. Participate in component (e.g., Network, Storage, GPU, memory), performance evaluation, and test development. + Utilize cross-platform x86/ARM/GPU validation scripts and test framework scripts (e.g., Python, shell script).
