About the Role:

Are you passionate about ensuring quality and reliability in cloud-based security solutions? Do you enjoy building comprehensive testing and monitoring solutions for high-volume, data-intensive environments? CrowdStrike is seeking an SDET III to join our CrowdStrike Falcon® Next-Gen SIEM team, focusing on test automation, platform reliability, and operational excellence. In this role, you'll be responsible for building robust testing frameworks and monitoring solutions that ensure our platform reliably processes trillions of events daily. What You’ll Do:

Design and implement comprehensive test automation frameworks, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing for our Next-Gen SIEM platform

Leverage generative AI tools to accelerate test creation, maintenance, and coverage analysis

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated testing and quality gates

Develop monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using Grafana, PagerDuty, Slack, and other tools to ensure platform reliability

Collaborate with Next-Gen SIEM and Platform engineering teams to identify performance bottlenecks and implement scalable testing solutions

Create automated testing for system resilience, including chaos engineering and failure scenario validation

Write clean, maintainable test code and automation scripts following best practices

Participate in production support and incident response, contributing to root cause analysis and preventive testing strategies

Work with development teams to establish effective testing strategies and improve overall code quality

Implement performance and load testing to validate scalability requirements

Contribute to post-incident reviews by developing tests that prevent regression of identified issues

Help teams adopt testing best practices and improve their quality processes

What you’ll Need: 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Strong programming skills in languages such as Go (preferred), Python, or Java

Experience with test automation frameworks and testing methodologies

Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices, including test integration

Experience with cloud technologies including OpenSearch, Redis, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and similar distributed systems, with knowledge of time-series databases and log aggregation systems testing

Understanding of cloud-native architecture patterns and microservices design principles

Experience with big data testing frameworks and ETL pipeline validation

Understanding of cloud-native architecture patterns and microservices design principles

Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, PagerDuty)

Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and containerization technologies

Understanding of distributed systems testing challenges and solutions

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex system issues

Ability to work independently and deliver well-defined testing solutions

Experience with API testing and microservices testing patterns

Bonus Points:

Experience in cybersecurity or security testing

Knowledge of chaos engineering and resilience testing practices

Familiarity with performance testing tools and load generation

Experience testing event streaming architectures and high-throughput data pipelines

Experience with infrastructure as code and test environment automation

Understanding of SIEM or log management systems

Experience with generative AI tools for test automation and analysis

Background in SRE practices and reliability engineering
