Our culture of growth and empathy focuses on your long-term career development while valuing your unique skills and experiences. **Your role and responsibilities** Responsibilities Environment and Services Setup Configure Kubernetes clusters on IKS (IBM Kubernetes Service) and manage virtual machines for the cognitive environment. Create and configure environments in watsonx Assistant to support cognitive applications. Data and Log Management Configure MongoDB and set up Kubernetes log operators in Elastic for data collection and analysis. Monitoring and Observability Develop operators for Prometheus and build Grafana dashboards to monitor critical services. Integration and Automation Configure IBM Voice Gateway to integrate communication channels. Create MLOps pipelines for Assistant skills and configure CI/CD pipelines for the source code, including GitHub integration. Quality and Security Configure and monitor SonarQube, ensuring code quality and security across the codebase and delivery processes. **Required technical and professional expertise** Proven experience configuring and administering Kubernetes environments (IKS) and MongoDB. Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic. Hands-on experience automating and integrating CI/CD pipelines, with experience using GitHub and DevOps practices. Experience configuring virtual machines, cloud environments, and integrating services (e.g., IBM Voice Gateway and watsonx Assistant). Knowledge of SRE practices to ensure high availability, performance, and system resilience. Analytical, results-driven profile with the ability to work effectively in agile and cross-functional teams. **Preferred technical and professional experience** • Multi-Cloud Environment Exposure: Exposure to working in multi-Cloud environments, including IBM and non-IBM technologies, to deliver strategic Cloud solutions. This includes understanding the strengths and weaknesses of different Cloud providers and being able to design solutions that maximize client value. • Cloud Security Knowledge: Exposure to Cloud security principles and best practices, including data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements. This includes understanding how to design and implement secure Cloud solutions that meet client needs. • Emerging Technologies Awareness: Exposure to emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT), and their potential applications in Cloud solutions. This includes understanding how to design and implement innovative Cloud solutions that leverage these technologies.
