We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced GCP DevOps Engineer to join our, this role is responsible for developing the most appropriate and secure technology solutions using iterative software development/programming in line with the solution design, to meet customer needs, ensuring continuous improvement

As our Cloud Platform engineer you will:

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, or Cloud Deployment ManagerBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud BuildMonitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, cost, and scalability using tools like Stack driver, Prometheus, or GrafanaEnsure security best practices, including IAM policies, network security, and data encryptionCollaborate with application teams to streamline the software delivery process and improve system reliabilityTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in production and non-production environments followed up with root cause analysis and documentationImplement disaster recovery and backup strategies for critical systems and dataUnderstand project requirements and develop design specifications as per business agreementsFollow all relevant IT policies, processes, and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $70,000.00 and $110,000.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location
