What you’ll do• Responsible for designing, planning, executing technology refresh and consolidation tasks for cloud infrastructure, while troubleshooting any arising issues.
• Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems.
• Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
• Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and processing in alignment with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
• Simplify existing platform architectures and eliminate legacy platforms by creating new designs and migration procedures.
• Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all managed software and hardware.
• Identify, analyze and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• Regularly review existing systems and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Conduct periodic monitoring of systems, performance tuning, capacity planning, and trend analysis.
• Evaluate new versions, patches, firmware, and security updates, implementing necessary upgrades and patches regularly.
• Manage the partner ecosystem to facilitate data center/application migration or management processes, collaborating with vendors to implement new service platforms.
• Interact with customers, providing cloud support and making recommendations based on their needs.
• Perform troubleshooting, incident management, and error handling for various systems.
• Maintain operational readiness to ensure complete recovery in the event of a disaster; participate in disaster recovery (DR) tests regularly as per company policies and procedures to validate DR functionality, updating policies and procedures as required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud infrastructure operations.
• Very good command of English.
• Deep understanding and experience with cloud technologies: IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, Multi Cloud, and Hybrid Cloud.
• Experience developing and implementing cloud solutions on cloud directory platforms.
• Proficient knowledge and experience with VMware products (vSphere, vCloud Director, NSX, vRealize Operations, Log Insight).
• Strong knowledge and experience in virtualization, storage, SAN, and networking.
• Experience in a large enterprise environment managing 200+ hypervisors.
• Familiarity with investigating issues at the vSphere Command-Line Interface (CLI) level.
• Understanding of vSphere security hardening and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in PowerShell or PowerCLI for problem investigation, resolution, and automation tasks.
• Knowledge and experience with backup and replication software (Veeam, Zerto, VCA).
• Good understanding of server, storage, and backup hardware systems.
• Experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS and Azure platforms.
• Preferred certifications: VCP, Huawei, Azure, and AWS.
• University degree in Electronic, Computer, Telecommunication, or Mathematics Engineering.
• Military service completed (for male candidates).
• Excellent interpersonal relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to understand and capture both business and technical requirements.
• Should be a collaborative team player with the ability to perform well under stress.
