YOUR ROLE
You will work within a project delivery team, under the direction of the Project Design Authority, and perform across the following areas:
Design resilient hybrid network underlays/overlays across Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) and on-prem environments.
Engineer Zero-Trust and Kubernetes cluster networking for GDC workloads.
Integrate COTS firewalls (e.g. Palo Alto, Fortinet) into GDC fabric ensuring ISM/PSPF/DSPF compliance.
Define routing, segmentation and telemetry patterns supporting Guard and Gateway services.
Provide network design input to FDSE reviews and accreditation activities.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
Expertise in Google Distributed Cloud networking and hybrid cloud interconnects.
Strong knowledge of Zero Trust Networking principles and Kubernetes CNI design (GKE-on-GDC).
Skilled in integrating COTS firewalls (e.g. Palo Alto, Fortinet) into GDC workloads.
Experience delivering Defence-ready network designs supporting FMN, ISM, and A&A compliance.
AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ROLES & SECURITY
A Defence security clearance is required for this role; applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance. An NV1 clearance is preferable.

In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role.
