SAP's Business Technology Platform is shaping the future of enterprise software, creating the ability to extend and personalize SAP applications, integrate and connect entire landscapes, and empower business users to integrate processes and experiences. The BTP Developer Success team 

works on creating reference applications that demonstrates the functionality and integration possibilities. Applications bigger than hello world but not as complex as productive application and based on real business scenarios. We use these applications to educate external and internal developers on how to consume SAP technologies ; drive adoption of SAP technologies. Also used for education, demos, TechEd sessions, Open SAP courses and for customer rollouts.

 

Tasks:

 

You will be working on Deploy with Confidence (DwC). It is a combination of cloud-native engineering principles, a feature-driven development process, and the tool set to develop, deploy, and deliver features daily. DwC allows application teams to focus on the development of business capabilities so that they benefit from central teams taking care of aspects such as zero-downtime deployments, daily delivery or the fulfillment of certain product standards.

Building reference applications for Deploy With Confidence and integration with SAP BTP and other SAP applications (LoBs) Run enablement workshops for DwC for internal stakeholders End to end management of DwC tasks – development, validation, documentation and devops  Take ownership of DwC components – maintain and enhance them Work with global team setup and adhere to all the defined development process Most important: A good team player who is open to work on any tasks to bring success

 

Skills required:

BE / B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 4 – 7 years of experience  Very strong in core Java and Springboot concepts Hands on experience in developing cloud native, microservices based applications  Knowledge on CI/Cd or DevOps preferred Knowledge on SAP BTP, Kubernetes preferred
