In this dynamic environment, we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Cloud Infrastructure Senior Engineer to join our DevOps team.     

Architect and implement robust cloud solutions using leading platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud

Develop automated processes for cloud resource provisioning, configuration, and management using tools like Terraform

Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate the development and improvements of new and reusable cloud-based systems and services

Implement and enforce security best practices in cloud environments, including access management, data protection, and compliance with industry standards and regulations

Identify areas for process optimization and implement new tools or practices to enhance efficiency and performance

Manage and monitor cloud environments and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance

Utilize DevOps (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, etc) tools and lifecycle processes to streamline infrastructure deployments and updates

Oversee SLA/OLA management, service capacity planning, and incident management to meet customer expectations

Measure and report on service performance metrics to prioritize and propose improvements for clients

What you bring matters 

BSc or MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Sciences, or related discipline

At least two (2) to three (3) years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure roles

Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud

Experience with Terraform

Understanding of cloud security principles, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, network security

Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, and related technologies

Experience in infrastructure deployments using any DevOps tool would be considered a plus

Basic knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes for container orchestration

Familiarity with Linux, and Windows Server environments

Bash or PowerShell scripting for automation tasks

Familiarity with Apache, NGINX, Microsoft IIS, Apache Tomcat

Knowledge of Oracle/MSSQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB deployment models and maintenance. DB Administration knowledge is not required

Solid understanding of IP/TCP protocols. Experience with WAF, VPNs, load balancer configurations

Exposure to performance/stress testing and monitoring tools

Commitment to providing excellent quality work and building client relationships

Ability and willingness to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner (both in English & in Greek)

Excellent interpersonal skills

Certifications

No certifications are required, however any of the following would be considered as a bonus:

Azure Administrator Associate - AZ104

AWS Solutions Architect - Associate

Hashicorp Terraform Associate

Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS)
