Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Cloud FinOps Specialist to drive cost optimization and financial accountability across our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. This role will focus on analyzing cloud usage patterns, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing strategic changes to reduce spend especially within services like BigQuery, Compute Engine, and Kubernetes Engine. Youll collaborate with engineering, data, and finance teams to deliver actionable insights and build a culture of cloud cost transparency and efficiency. Skills and Requirements Minimum 7 years of experience in cloud cost optimization, FinOps o Cloud spend should total close to 800k per month  Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery, Compute Engine, and Kubernetes  Strong understanding of GCP billing, pricing models, and cost management tools (e.g., Cloud Billing Reports, BigQuery Audit Logs, Looker Studio)  Experience tuning BigQuery queries, managing slot reservations, and optimizing data workflows  Proficiency in scripting (Python, SQL, or Bash) for automation and analysis  Extensive experience with presenting to C-Level Executives null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
