We are currently seeking a Cloud Engineer - AWS IoT to join our team in GDL, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX). Key Responsibilities: 1. Cloud Architecture & Engineering + Design, build, and operate cloud solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. + Implement and manage data-focused AWS services including Glue, Athena, Lambda, Step Functions, SageMaker, S3 data lakes. + Build and manage containerized workloads using Docker & Kubernetes. + Configure cloud networking components. + Deploy and automate infrastructure using Terraform with advanced modules. 2. Automation & DevOps + Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell. + Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc. + Integrate cloud security controls and automated compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines. 3. Cloud Security & Compliance + Implement IAM, encryption, firewalls, and secure networking. + Monitor environments using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog. + Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA. 4. Data & Analytics Infrastructure + Build and operate serverless and data lake environments using Glue, Athena, EMR, Lambda, Lake Formation. + Support ML workloads using SageMaker. + Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services and/or Python. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration + Collaborate with product, data, and cybersecurity teams. + Participate in design reviews and solution delivery meetings. + Provide technical mentorship. Required Qualifications: + 4–8 years of Cloud Engineering experience. + Strong AWS hands-on experience. + Deep experience with Terraform. + Strong understanding of cloud networking & security. + Proficiency in Python. + Hands-on with CI/CD tools. + Experience with monitoring tools. + Experience implementing DevSecOps practices. + Experience with Glue, Athena, and SageMaker.
