The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a Cloud Engineer to design, build and implement cloud-native architectures with Kubernetes and related technologies for our customers. The selected candidate can work out of Langley AFB, VA, Hurlburt Field AFB, FL, or Rome, NY.

You should love working with people and sharing your knowledge with your peers and be extremely knowledgeable in the Cloud-Native field. 

Responsibilities:

Build, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your clients' needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities.

Develop and manage container management software to solve some of our toughest challenges.

Use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your clients' environments with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration.

Work directly with your clients to inform strategy and design, while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process with Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher.

Recommend tools to help your clients manage and securely adopt containers.

Broaden your skills in areas like Containerization, Orchestration, and Microservices while developing critical cloud platforms for clients.


Qualifications:

Required:

Active TS/SCI security clearance.

5+ years of Cloud Engineering (AWS, Azure, GCP)

2+ years of experience with container tools, including kubectl, K9s, Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher (RKE2).

2+ years of experience with automation tools, including Terraform or Ansible.

2+ years of experience with Helm Charts (Helm), Kustomize and/or updating K8s manifests.

Experience with GitOps Practices and Tools (ArgoCD, Flux).

Experience with deployment and maintaining Kubernetes platforms in multiple environments and classification levels.

Desired:

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Administrator Developer (CKAD).

Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).

2+ years of experience with deploying Kubernetes within a platform or cloud offerings, including GCP, AWS, or Azure.

Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes managed storage solutions or databases (velero, ceph).

Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes in air-gap (classified) environments to include Amazon SC2S or C2S.

Demonstrated experience in Kubernetes hardening or cybersecurity best practices.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
