The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud DevSecOps Engineer (Level 2) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevSecOps practices, cloud security, and IT security. This role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and enterprise security design within cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
• DevSecOps Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
• Infrastructure as Code: Develop and manage IaC templates to ensure consistent and secure cloud infrastructure deployments.
• Scripting and Automation: Write and maintain scripts in Python or Shell to automate security processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Security Integration: Embed security practices into the DevOps workflow, ensuring that security is an integral part of the development process.
• Cloud Security: Apply enterprise security design principles to cloud environments, including AWS and Kubernetes.
• Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities, identifying and mitigating security threats in real-time.
• Compliance and Audits: Ensure that all DevSecOps practices comply with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to foster a culture of shared responsibility for security.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related STEM field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in DevSecOps or IT security, with a focus on cloud environments.
• Clearance: TS/SCI
Technical Skills:
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
• Knowledge of enterprise security design and incident response for cloud environments.
Certifications:
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty
• Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
• Security+
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with security scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube, Checkmarx).
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
