The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Cloud Developer Engineer supporting our Army customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. This is fully remote work except as needed to access, process, and/or review classified material and/or attend classified meetings.

Responsibilities:

Lead a cloud engineering project from inception to completion.Provides cloud software development/engineering services to include requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.Execute ongoing operational cloud management functions to ensure applications are operating optimally.Perform maintenance, upgrades and optimization as needed.Provide day-to-day support and management of infrastructure including 3rd party hosted data centers and cloud-based systems.Utilizes infrastructure engineering and research design methodologies appropriate to the development/test/production environments.Provides specific input to the component system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, system reuses, use of COTS/GOTS, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual systems components with particular emphasis on complex networking topics.Modify software and algorithms designed for traditional environments to operate in cloud environments.Support Authority to Operate (ATO)/Interim Authority to Test (IATT) efforts such as generating required artifacts.Up to 10% travel as neededWork closely with application technical teams to ensure successful rollout of the solution to the cloud.Able to complete Weekly Activity Reports (WAR’s) and Monthly Status Reports (MSR’s)Perform additional duties as assigned


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related discipline and 7 years of professional experienceProven cloud engineering background (Azure)Good networking experienceExperience working in multiple environments including RHEL/Ubuntu/WindowsUnderstanding of Army/DoD enterprise authentication solutionsAbility to code JavaQuarkus/Jakarta EE or other relevant framework eg. SpringContainer technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)On-premises IT experience and understanding of mapping on-premises to cloud.Must be DoD 8140 compliantSecurity+ and cloud-based certifications preferred

Ability to work in a team focused, dynamic environmentMust be flexible, independent, and self-motivatedFmiliar with AWS,PKI/CA, LDAP, Scripting/configuration automation, Agile processes and structuresExperience with CI/CD tools (TFS, Git, BitBucket, etc.),Configuration management tools (such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef), Security stack infrastructure (WAF, firewalls, network security groups, virtual subnets, etc.), Cross Domain Solutions, Software assurance, source code analysis

A Secret clearance is required to begin employment. For this position, CACI has the ability to provide clearance sponsorship for qualified individuals.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$108,400 - 227,500 USD
