Cloud Data Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Cloud Data Engineer to manage and develop Azure cloud native data pipelines, maintain legacy ETL processes, and support data model design and implementation.

Requirements:

BS degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years experience or Masters with 6+ years. 4+ years experience with ETL processes using Microsoft SSIS, SQL, SQL Agent, Powershell. Proficiency in scripting languages: SQL, T-SQL, Python, PySpark. Experience with Microsoft database tools: SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Services and Azure Synapse Analytics.

Responsibilities:

Maintain legacy ETL processes using various technologies. Develop full lifecycle Azure cloud native data pipelines. Collaborate to understand data requirements and develop solutions. Design and implement data models for various data stores. Utilize Azure services to develop high performing data pipelines. Redevelop existing scripts to new platforms. Prepare data for analytics, visualization, reporting, AI/ML. Optimize data pipeline functions for integrity and performance. Monitor issues to maintain availability and performance. Support Agile DevOps process including planning.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $57.00 per hour
