**Description**
Our IT EDP Commercial and Medicine Data Analytics team is seeking a talented and experienced Cloud Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, creating, and managing our company's data architecture. This individual will play a key role in developing data strategies, implementing data solutions, and ensuring the overall integrity and security of our data assets for Digital Products delivered to Business.

This role is based in our Ridgefield, Ct office with employees working at least 2-3 days on site to support the business.
**Compensation Data**
This position offers a base salary typically between $140,000 and $222,000. This position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus and or other compensation elements. **Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Design and implement efficient and scalable Cloud data architecture.
+ Develop data models and database designs.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Business Stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
+ Work closely with Data Domain owners to establish Data Governance and Data Sharing Terms policies.
+ Optimize database performance and ensure data quality.
+ Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data management.
+ Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
**Requirements**
+ Bachelor degree from an accredited institution with four-plus (4+) years IT experience
+ In lieu of a degree, ten-plus (10+) years of relevant IT experience required.
+ 7+ years in business intelligence and data management, including Data Architect roles; 5+ years with cloud solutions (AWS), including leading at least one large-scale cloud modernization project.
+ Industry Knowledge: at least 5years of experience in Pharma commercial data domains is a must (GxP processes is plus).
+ Proficiency in AWS components (S3, Glue), Snowflake, Apache Parquet, DBT ETL tools, SnapLogic, middleware solutions, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
+ Semantic Data Models & Knowledge Graphs: Expertise in developing semantic data models using ontologies and taxonomies, designing Knowledge Graphs, and delivering AI data pipelines for NLP, recommendation engines, and predictive analytics.
+ Data Pipeline Optimization: Proven ability to design and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and enhancement of structured and unstructured data.
+ Architectural Design & Innovation: Strong skills in designing complex architectures, confidently defending design decisions, and driving technical advancements with innovative ideas and collaboration.
+ Certifications & Tools: AWS Solution Architect certification is a plus; experience with Innovator is a plus.
+ Soft Skills: Strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills; ability to design and defend complex architectures.
+ Additional: Experience with agile delivery models and willingness to travel as needed.
