Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Automation Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. The role focuses on automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational workflows across AWS-hosted environments to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement automation for AWS infra using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines. Manage and support Linux/Windows environments for optimal uptime. Automate provisioning/configuration of AWS services (RDS, IAM, Route53, CloudWatch). Build scripts and workflows to support audits, compliance, and security. Troubleshoot infrastructure/application issues; perform RCA and implement preventive actions. Collaborate with DevOps and Security to embed automation in release and governance workflows. Maintain automation standards, SOPs, and operational playbooks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field. AWS certifications (SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect) a plus. Strong analytical/problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Attributes

Experience with automated DR orchestration, Vault Lock, WORM protection. Familiarity with ServiceNow, API integrations, workflow automation. Exposure to ECS/EKS container environments. Understanding of ITIL (incident/change management).
