Role Overview
Cloud Solutions Architect with 13+ years of IT experience and deep hands-on expertise in designing, architecting, and delivering large-scale enterprise cloud platforms. Proven leader in driving cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Adept at aligning technology strategy with business outcomes, security, compliance, and cost optimization while mentoring teams and serving as a senior technical authority.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect, design, and deliver end-to-end cloud solutions leveraging IaaS, PaaS, serverless, microservices, and containerized architectures.
• Develop enterprise reference architectures, reusable patterns, HLDs and LLDs, aligned with business, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization programs, including rehost, replatform, refactor, and re-architect strategies for applications and databases.
• Design and implement Cloud Landing Zones, including network topology, IAM/RBAC models, governance frameworks, tagging standards, and resource hierarchies.
• Define and execute hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud strategies, integrating on-premises datacenters with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Partner with security teams to implement Zero Trust, IAM, encryption, logging, monitoring, threat detection, and compliance frameworks.
• Drive FinOps and cost governance, enabling spend optimization, right-sizing, and executive cost-visibility dashboards.
• Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, and solution walkthroughs, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
• Architect and guide CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and GitLab.
• Design and operate Kubernetes platforms (AKS, EKS, GKE), including scaling strategies, governance, add-ons, and workload patterns.
• Deliver Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, and CloudFormation.
• Implement observability and monitoring frameworks using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and GCP Operations Suite.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization across compute, storage, databases, APIs, networks, and serverless components.
• Champion best practices for resilience, scalability, disaster recovery, operational excellence, and automation.
• Mentor and lead cloud engineers, DevOps teams, and architects, ensuring architectural consistency and engineering excellence.
• Communicate complex architectural concepts effectively to business leaders, executives, and technical teams.
