The Cloud Architect role is a senior level position responsible for leading a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned framework. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft 365 and Azure, who is ready to take ownership of solution design, security integration, and cross-platform interoperability. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and a collaborative problem-solver with a passion for secure, scalable cloud architecture. **Top 5 Requirements** + Design and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions, primarily SaaS cloud services with an emphasis on Microsoft 365. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services with enterprise identity and security frameworks. + Troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based networking and application performance. + Support governance and compliance initiatives, including eDiscovery and data protection. + Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. **Preferred and Required Core Competencies & Technical Skills:** **Cloud & Microsoft 365 Expertise:** Working knowledge of: + Microsoft GraphAPI and security controls + Microsoft M365 Messaging and Collaboration services – Workloads, Purview Information protection, Compliance and data governance. + Copilot Design, Controls and governance + Integration with Entra ID (Azure AD) **Cloud Architecture & Networking:** Experience designing and troubleshooting cloud-based solutions.
