Key Responsibilities 

Manage applications, automate and monitor operational services, and handle deployment, inventory, asset, and configuration management.  Operate, build, and develop our monitoring landscape and configuration management systems to automate and standardize processes and interfaces.  Consult on monitoring topics and establish services for monitoring production (OT) and IoT environments.  Utilize the latest technologies, including AI, and primarily develop in Python.  Embrace DevOps concepts, CI/CD, and agile working methodologies.  Develop concepts for transforming into a seamless, scalable environment supporting OnPrem, Cloud, and EDGE environments.  Ensure compliance with quality standards and monitoring based on key metrics (SLA, performance indicators, authorization, licenses, & KPIs), with a special focus on IT security.  Organize changes to the IT landscape and proactively initiate and implement improvements, coordinating with other IT operation units.  Work independently and autonomously, acting as the central point of contact for issues within your area of responsibility.  Foster effective and trustful cooperation with internal and external customers and partners, including planning and conducting training. 

You excel in 

EducationBachelor Degree in computer science (University, FH, BA) or comparable qualification, with several years of experience in data center or cloud operationsExperience & SkillsStrong focus on metric-based monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana), Data and Log management, REST-API, and development, especially with Python.  Ability to develop monitoring solutions in factories with customers.  3 to 5 years of experience in systems administration, databases, and IT operations.  Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.  Ways of workingStrong interest in ensuring operations (including automated processes), experience in IT project teams, and openness to working in international teams Willingness to participate in on-call duties (24/7)LanguagesExcellent written and spoken English and German skills.
