You‘ll make an impact by:

In this role, you will be responsible for the entity’s accounting, governance, month-end closing, and financial reporting activities. Your key responsibilities will include:

Ensure timely and accurate monthly and quarterly closings and group reporting (ESPRIT) in accordance with deadlines set by Group HQ, including:Preparation and review of journal vouchers and management judgments;Addressing system validation issues during closing runs;Booking valuation allowances for receivables and inventories;Lease accounting in compliance with IFRS 16 and related reporting;Recording adjustments for foreign exchange (FX) and embedded derivatives (ED);General ledger (GL) monitoring, balance sheet reviews, and cleansing activities;Manage other group reporting requirements, including Order Backlog, Reach Reporting, Additional Statements Reporting (ADSTAR), etc.;Prepare quarterly & annual statutory financial statements of the Company and ensure all relevant disclosures are in line with the latest International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and all other laws applicable in Pakistan;Prepare and review audit reports, and support both internal and external audit activities;Compile and present monthly and quarterly financial information and presentations for senior management, the Board of Directors, and its CommitteesLiaise with business units to provide support on accounting, controlling, and reporting matters;Build awareness and provide guidance to stakeholders on Financial Reporting Guidelines and global accounting initiatives;Conduct periodic reviews and financial statement analysis for various business units;Act as a solution provider for ERP-related issues impacting accounting and reporting, and support implementation of change requests;Participate in process improvement and optimization initiatives;Develop and implement pre-closing validation procedures to reduce errors and ensure compliance with closing and reporting deadlineProvide support for ad-hoc financial and reporting requirements.

Your success is grounded in

ACCA Qualified or CA Finalist2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Financial Accounting and ReportingStrong understanding of IFRSUnderstanding Group Reporting tools and procedures and FRGProficient in using MS office applications and SAPGood communication, collaboration and presentation and interpersonal skillsFluent in speaking English
