REQUIREMENTS

· Master’s degree in a clinical discipline and 1 year of relevant experience OR Bachelors Degree with 3 years of relevant experience required.

· Act 33/34/73 Clearances

· Valid Driver’s license

· Ability to drive an organization vehicle

· Pre-employment drug screening

· Serve Safe Certification obtained after hire.

WORK SCHEDULE This is a Non-Exempt (Hourly) position

Friday and Saturday Daylight

ABOUT THE ROLE: Our Behavioral Therapists provide direct therapeutic services (individual and group therapy; treatment planning) for mentally ill adults including assisting our persons served with activities of daily living, safety checks, unit monitoring, crisis de-escalation, and shift documentation.

· You’d be an integral member of our Treatment Team, in constant collaboration unit supervisors and other Journey Home staff.

· Responsible for helping clients with severe persistent mental illness maintain safety and stability throughout their stay in a residential facility.

· This position will work within a 16-bed unit in the Carrick area offering residential psychiatric care to adults who with serious mental illness, in a locked structured setting.
