Whether or not you serve in a clinical role, every member of the Cleveland Clinic team is a caregiver. Serving as Systems Analyst III, being a caregiver starts in the office, where you will lead and manage projects involving the design, development, testing, and implementation of automated systems. In this role, you will help with planning, estimating, and improving systems, identifying training needs for users and team members, and suggests both automated and manual solutions to improve system performance. As part of our IT and Cybersecurity team, you will do more than explore and expand your discipline and skills — your work will impact patients across the globe. A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Coordinates on-site systems administration and support activities.Interacts with end-users as required to assist in problem definition and system design.Coordinates and conducts education and end-user training programs to assure systems are utilized as designed.Develops end-user documentation or a permanent reference for clear, concise information.Assists with system build, data validation and system testing.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s degree in related field with five years of hospital or major medical center clinical experience or three years of recent experience implementing and supporting a major clinical information system OR High School Diploma and 8 years of experience OR Associate’s degree and seven years of experience, OR Masters degree and 4 years of experienceLicense in a medically related field such as nursing, pharmacy assistant, medical assistant, medical technology or EMTITIL Foundations Certification upon or within six months of hire Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, problem solving and relationship building skillsPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
