Clinical Support Specialist, Trauma

As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will join a fast-growing, collaborative Trauma team, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. You will serve as a trusted clinical supporter in theatres and hospitals, providing expert product knowledge, training, and support to healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional service and optimal patient outcomes. Working closely with the sales team, you will help drive business growth while representing Stryker with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to making a difference.

Covering the Free State—including Bloemfontein, Welkom, Kimberley, Kroonstad, and Bethlehem—this role offers opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic industry while collaborating with a reliable team that values knowledge sharing and mutual support.

What will you do:

Service and support existing and new customers within theatre and clinical environments, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with team members and the Regional Sales Manager to maintain best-in-class customer service standards.

Audit theatre stock, manage consignment inventory, and uphold strong asset management practices.

Conduct product trials, evaluations, and workshops, demonstrating a deep understanding of clinical applications.

Plan, organize, and deliver training sessions and events for physicians, theatre staff, and hospital administration.

Support the introduction of new Stryker products, coordinating instruments and training as required.

Observe customer needs and liaise with sales colleagues to provide optimal solutions and introduce additional Stryker products.

Develop a strong understanding of the local healthcare environment and contribute to regional strategy initiatives.

What will you need:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field

2+ years of experience in theatre or clinical environments as a Clinical Supporter or OR Nurse

Strong organizational and independent work skills

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and clinical procedures.

Ability to manage clinical support responsibilities while assisting the sales team

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

High integrity and commitment to patient safety

Fluency in English and a valid driver’s license

Preferred:

Prior exposure to trauma or orthopedic within theatre environment
