General Summary
Is the clinical lead of the ABA teams. Through continual learning and personal clinical development, the BA uses research and professional collaboration to create and implement systems for staff training and overall program development. The BA collaborates closely with the Program Director to implement program initiatives for program and staff improvement, including being responsible for oversight of cases for all other clinicians in the program. The BA oversees BCBAs, BCaBAs, BCs, RBTs, and BTs. The BA is expected to hold a higher level of clinical expertise in order to oversee the staff who conduct descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and behavior analytic interpretations of the results. The BA also oversees staff design and implementation of behavior analytic interventions.

Develops and maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis through interaction with other ABA based professionals as well as ongoing professional development opportunities within and outside of WellSpan Philhaven. Demonstrates ability to recognize potential customer relations problems and notify appropriate supervisor. Demonstrates understanding and respect of client's environment and culture. Attends pre-service meetings, supervision meetings, trainings, performance evaluations, and other administrative meetings as assigned.

Minimum Education:
Work Experience:
1 year Experience in providing Applied Behavior Analysis services and experience in developing/implementing behavioral analytic treatment plans. Required and Experience in clinical or counseling psychology, special education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or another related field. RequiredLicenses:

Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of and ability in the care and management of the unique needs of individuals with developmental disorders. Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills. Analytical abilities. Visual ability to observe patient behavior and dynamics in order to prepare and review written documentation. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to give critical feedback and facilitate conversations with potentially disgruntled consumers. Must be able to provide own transportation from one client to another. Must demonstrate a strong professional interest in being a part of a multidisciplinary team that specializes in the assessment and treatment of the social, emotional and behavioral needs of children and adolescents with developmental disorders such as Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
