Responsibilities
This role is responsible for promoting Mayo Clinic’s core values and supporting community-based health care and integrated delivery systems through the sale of Mayo Clinic Laboratories (MCL) hematology and oncology tests across Canada. The position focuses on generating new business revenue, developing strategic account plans, and implementing targeted selling initiatives in collaboration with MCL clients.
Reporting Structure
Reports directly to the Director of International Sales for the Americas Corridor and works closely with the Regional Team for Canada, including the Regional Manager, Clinical Specialty Representatives for other disciplines, and the Regional Service Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development:Generate new business revenue within the assigned territory.Co-develop account-specific strategies with clients to increase adoption of MCL hematology and oncology clinical tests.Identify differentiated tests in the market and pursue upsell opportunities with targeted clients.Strategic Planning & Execution:Partner with the Regional Team to develop and implement territory and account business plans.Engage with physicians, institutional leadership, and laboratory decision-makers to move testing to MCL, effectively differentiating from competitors.Sales Process Management:Coordinate resources, prepare presentations, and participate in bid processes for new and upselling opportunities.Negotiate test pricing with the Regional Manager, coordinate contract development and execution, and ensure accurate lock-in of prices.Collaboration:Work closely with Product Managers, Sales Trainers, and other team members to align sales efforts with product strengths and market opportunities.This is a Telework/Telecommute position based out of the employee’s home in the USA. Incumbent located in the United States near a major international airport and willing to travel as business needs to be deemed necessary.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years’ sales experience, preferably within the hematology and oncology market segment.
Masters in business, medical technology, or sciences preferred.
Proven track record in healthcare, diagnostics, or laboratory sales.
Experience in physician/client-facing roles or negotiating contracts in a hospital or laboratory setting.
Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships at multiple organizational levels.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong preference for candidates with a technical biosciences background (e.g., biology, chemistry, immunology, or genetics).
Additional consideration for advanced academic degrees, specialized training relevant to the role, or successful international sales experience.
Fluency in French is a plus but not required.
Must be based in the United States, working from a home office located near a major airport.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% (domestic and international).

Experience and tenure may be considered when job offers are extended. The position ranges from $72,280-$108,388/year with a commission add-on component as well.
