Job Summary
The Cardioplegia Delivery Systems Representative is a sales professional responsible for driving adoption and growth of Quest cardiovascular products. The role is centered on achieving sales targets by effectively communicating product features and benefits, understanding customer needs, and positioning solutions that align with hospital and clinical priorities. Success requires strong sales execution, territory development, and relationship management with surgeons, perfusionists, hospital administrators, and purchasing agents. This is a sales-driven role that leverages product knowledge and customer insight to influence decision-making and build long-term partnerships.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans within the assigned territory to achieve revenue and growth targets.Build and strengthen relationships with surgeons, perfusionists, hospital administrators, and purchasing agents to expand adoption of cardioplegia delivery systems.Maintain regular customer contact to identify needs, position product benefits, and drive long-term loyalty.Prospect for new business opportunities by identifying and converting competitive accounts.Deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations that highlight both clinical and economic value.Collect and analyze market intelligence on hospital purchasing processes, surgeon and perfusionist preferences, and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.Partner closely with the Senior Sales Manager and broader sales team to share insights and continuously improve the sales process.Maintain strong knowledge of product features, benefits, and value propositions to effectively differentiate in the marketplace.Develop and manage a robust pipeline in CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-up on opportunities.Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and customer support to ensure seamless execution of the sales process.Represent Quest Medical at trade shows, regional meetings, and customer events to increase product visibility and generate leads.Prepare and deliver professional communications, proposals, and presentations for live or virtual platforms.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, life sciences, or related field preferred.Minimum of five years of successful medical device, capital equipment, or healthcare sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quota.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of hospital purchasing processes and capital equipment sales cycles, including experience working with physicians, perfusionists, administrators, and purchasing agents.Demonstrated success in new business development, account penetration, and competitive conversions.Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Skilled in territory planning, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting within a CRM system.High level of business acumen with the ability to clearly articulate both clinical and economic value propositions.Strong presentation skills, with experience delivering persuasive proposals in live and virtual settings.Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to working in complex hospital environments.Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 75%) to meet customer and territory demands.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365(Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook) and seamlessly manage work from both a computer and an iPhone.Must hold a current and valid driver’s license.

Base Salary for this position is $124,000 - $155,000 annually, and inclusion in MPS Commission Plan. Benefits including Medical, Rx, Vision, Dental, and Health Savings Account (HSA), Retirement and Security benefits including 401k and Life Insurance. During the first year of employment, employees may accrue up to 15 days of Paid Time Off (PTO), equivalent to 120 hours. Employees receive 13 paid holidays*. In addition to Paid Time Off and paid Holidays, each employee receives 16 hours paid time each calendar year to perform volunteer services for Nordson-sponsored events. The base pay range for this job level is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, business considerations, and local market conditions, as well as candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, and skills.
