Position Summary: The RN on the Wound Care Team will be responsible for assisting the clinical RN in the daily operations of the service. Additional and specific duties will include the day-to-day responsibility of the Specialty Bed service. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with an RN degree. Holds a current Texas permit or license. Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association within 90 days of hire. BSN preferred. B. Training and Experience: Wound care experience preferred and helpful. C. Job Knowledge: Understanding of hospital and departmental policies and procedures, ability to understand and work with team concepts, good knowledge of the Nursing Process.
