Clinical Reviewer, LPN (Remote)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Review requests for services including admission, discharges and continued stays for adherence to clinical criteria, state and federal policy, and  related requirements.

- Issue approvals, denials or recommendations based on contract requirements.

- Identify need for additional clinical documentation or consultation.

- Complete documentation of activities within contract systems.

- Communicate with providers, individuals and their designees, or state workers as required.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license valid in the state of practice is required

- High School Degree or equivalent required

- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required

- Active, unrestricted LPN licensed valid in Indiana, or compact License.- Minimum 2 years experience with mental health and psychiatric patients- Minimum 2 years experience with individuals diagnosed with IDD- Highly skilled using Microsoft Office- Ability to provide close attention to detail- Able to work independently, managing tasks without supervision, completing tasks in a timely manner.
Preferred Requirements- Experience with MDS (Minimum Data Set)
