Job Description:

The Clinical Resource Nurse is a Registered Nurse who demonstrates the ability to coordinate patient care to meet the complex needs of the patient population on the unit. This nurse will support and promote all education, quality, patient safety initiatives, and a solid commitment to the patient experience. In addition, this nurse will role model and mentor problem solving and critical thinking. Communication with all health care team members will be respectful and professional. A commitment to one's professional development is essential in this nursing leadership role.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

MA Registered Nurse License

American Heart Association BLS CPR (can be obtained after offer)

Minimally Required Experience: 

3-5 years working in OBS

Certifications

CPR/BLS Required

NRP Required

ACLS Required

1) Membership in crucial unit-specific practice committees
2) Consistent attendance at staff meetings and is responsible for the content if unable to attend in person
3) Excellent communication skills
4) Consistent attendance of mandatory in-service and educational programs 
5) Committed to one's own professional growth and development.

Diploma in Nursing (Required)

Certifications:
