Job Summary

The Registered Nurse manages all aspects of the nursing process and the delivery of patient and family centered care. The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and authority to request and use governing and administrative resources, technological and support systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts necessary to manage -and deliver quality, cost effective patient care. Proficient as a Staff Nurse Functions as an expert with a specific clinical focus encompassing all aspects of patient/family care, including the availability and appropriateness of equipment, standards, and competencies.


 

Qualifications

Requires a minimum of two years experience in an Acute care hospital. Other requirements will depend on type of unit and/or Current needs of the unit. - Moderate periods of time exposed to CRT screen. Ability to complete documentation, manipulate equipment (i.e. physical Therapy modalities, whirlpool, computer), and complete direct patient care required - Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required. - Bachelor preferred. - Current RN license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required. - Basic life Support certification required.
