Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin is seeking an experienced **Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN)** to support high-quality, evidence-based nursing practice across care settings. This role is ideal for nurses with strong clinical expertise who enjoy supporting peers and improving patient care.
The CRN functions within the three spheres of impact—Patient/Client, Nurses and Nursing Practice, and Organization/System—by supporting clinical excellence and consistent nursing practice.
+ Serve as an expert clinical resource for nurses managing complex patient care situations
+ Provide real-time clinical support, education, and mentorship to strengthen bedside practice
+ Support evidence-based standards, patient safety, and quality initiatives
+ Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to improve patient outcomes

This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. Successful sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in nursing. Master's degree preferred
+ Three years of successful work experience in nursing.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet patient needs and CRN workload.
+ Two years in the specialty area preferred.
**License and Certifications:**
+ Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
+ This RN job may require a RN license in multiple states.
+ The CRN will have five years to complete their CNS education and certification and APRN license – per individualized state requirements.
+ Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers), Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers), Military Training Network.
+ Additional specialty certification/training as required by the work area.

$91,561.60 - $137,384.00 / year; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
