Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Nurse to join our team, focusing on the data entry aspects of clinical trials. This role involves documenting adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs), patient-reported outcomes, and engaging with protocol documents. You will handle monitor visits and follow up accordingly. Initially, you will not interact directly with patients, but eventually, you will be responsible for screening and recruiting patients for the trials.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry for clinical trials.Document adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs).Manage patient-reported outcomes.Review and understand trial protocols.Coordinate and follow up on monitor visits.Screen and recruit patients for clinical trials (future responsibility).

Essential Skills

Proficiency in data entry and handling queries.Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems like Inform and MediData Rave.Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.At least 2 years of nursing experience.Knowledge of clinical trial processes at the site level.Understanding of IVRS (Interactive Voice Response Systems).CITI training certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in oncology.Experience with Epic and clinical research chart review.Ability to manage regulatory and IRB-related tasks.Adverse event reporting expertise.

Work Environment

This role is based at the Farm Journal Building associated with the Abramson Cancer Center. It is a separate entity from the School of Medicine.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
