The Emma Eccles Jones Nursing Research Center’s mission is to provide exceptional support services that facilitate faculty success in research and scholarly activity. We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator ( CRC ) to become a team member on a four-year NIH -funded study to develop and implement a digital health intervention to support symptom communication among adolescents and young adults with cancer. The Clinical Research Coordinator will coordinate day-to-day clinical trial activities. You will work under the direction of the Primary Investigator (PI). This requires a general skill set and proficiency to conduct work assignments as requested. The position will be supervised well with some latitude for independent decision-making. This position will support adherence to Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), study protocols, and applicable regulations. The CRC will recruit, enroll and collect data from study participants at multiple clinical sites. Work directly with study participants and families and serve as project liaison to other departments, outside organizations, and government agencies. This is a grant-funded position currently funded through May 2027. Manage participant payments. * Conduct on-site participant recruitment and data collection at Primary Children’s Hospital and the Huntsman Cancer Institute. * Support study-related education with the clinical site. * Assist in the development of study protocols, managing human subject requirements, including IRB paperwork and procedures (new proposals, amendments, continuing reviews). * Represent the research program at meetings. * Purchase equipment, supplies, and arrange travel for personnel as assigned. * Support financial oversight of the project and reporting to the sponsor. * Liaison with central university research offices such as Institutional Review Board. * Prioritize workload with minimal supervision to manage competing deadlines. * Must be able to work as an integral team member. * Complete other relevant duties as assigned. This is an Entry-Level position in the General Professional track. **Clinical Research Coordinator (Non-R.N.), II** Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 4 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience.
