Key Responsibilities + Collaborating with multidisciplinary team (physicians, dietitians, social workers, nurses, child life specialists) to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance outcomes. + Collecting, analyzing and presenting clinical data to meet CMS regulatory requirements for QAPI (Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement) for the Dialysis Program + Preparing and presenting Dialysis QAPI data for bimonthly meetings to Dialysis Governing Body. + Maintaining meeting minutes of QAPI meetings and follow up of implementation of improvement initiatives. + Collecting, analyzing and present clinical data to monitor for hospital acquired conditions (HAC) related to the Vascular Access Service, specifically Peripheral IV Infiltration and Extravasation (PIVIE) + Performing chart reviews + Patient assessment of PIVIE + Working Monday - Friday, days, 8:30-5. Minimum Qualifications Education: + A bachelor's degree in nursing Experience: + At least 2 years of Inpatient nursing experience required. + Microsoft excel experience and ability to use statistical data programs. + Interest in healthcare quality improvement and interest in using data to understand and improve patient outcomes.
