In this role, you will supervise Clinical Providers, provide therapy for assigned clients, and engage in various activities that meet client needs and treatment goals. You will also participate in community education efforts to enhance understanding of mental health issues.

Provide supervision to the Clinical Providers assigned to you and hold regularly scheduled individual supervisory sessions and team meetings with supervisees.Assist supervisees in the effective management of their time, as dictated by DMH standards and departmental needs.Provide individual, group, family, and/or other practical counseling utilizing your experience to meet the needs of the client and the goals of treatment.Present educational material in public forums to promote community understanding of mental health.Participate in staffing of clients to identify problems and establish goals and objectives for treatment.Participate in emergency services to provide rapid aid in cases of emotional crisis.Regularly review and monitor written documentation, providing corrective feedback and employee discipline as needed.Participate in hiring staff for the department and report all critical incidents to the supervising Assistant Director or Director.Review all travel vouchers and certify that mileage claimed is reasonable and for medically necessary activities.Participate in staff development and training activities, including new hire trainings and orientation.Regularly evaluate self and assigned staff according to the system’s Operational Guidelines.Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
Master's degree or licensed professional with post-licensure experience in mental health.Must possess a Missouri State license as a Psychologist, LMSW, LCSW, PLPC, or LPC.Additional Qualifications:
Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.Physical Requirements:
ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
