This role drives evidence-based practices, manages data registries and dashboards, translates complex regulatory requirements into actionable strategies, and fosters multidisciplinary collaboration to implement innovative solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities Directs and coordinates activities of project to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budgetImplements evidence-based guidelines from committee and data abstraction.Manages quality initiatives for service lines impacted by governmental reimbursement modelsCoordinates efforts and activities required to achieve and maintain The Joint Commission Advanced Disease Specific Care Certifications, TEAMS (Transforming Episode Accountability Model) and AJRR (American Joint Replacement Registry).Assures data meets all requirements from regulatory agencies and service line societiesMaintains AJRR Data Registry – abstracts data, reports outcomes and drives change with multidisciplinary teamsProvides meaningful clinical insight on quality initiatives based on report outcomes Maintains dashboards for Service lines impacted by governmental reimbursement modelsCollaborates with providers and team members to drive quality initiatives Partners with Finance team to meet expected measure to avoid financial hardshipPromotes innovation within clinical practice and seeks opportunities to bring new clinical knowledge into practiceChairs collaborative team meetings to identify focus items and initiate change Develops and executes a multi-year regulatory strategy aligned with organizational goalsPrioritizes regulatory initiatives based on risk, impact, and resource availabilityTranslates complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable plans for cross-functional teams.Program & Project Oversight
Leads and manages multiple concurrent regulatory projects from planning through implementationEstablishes project timelines, milestones, and performance metrics to ensure on-time deliveryConducts regular reviews to track progress, resolve barriers, and reallocate resources as needed. Qualifications BSN required.NJ RN license requiredMinimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Registered Professional NurseProject management and data abstraction experience preferred Three to five years of experience supporting multiple, complex health-care clinical projects, with progressively increasing responsibility, including at least two years of leading projects. Knowledge of CMS payment reimbursement models, readmission task forces, accreditation submission and physician support for jump starting new initiatives.Successful track record of project results demonstrating effective project leadership and meeting deadlines.Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodology, System Development Life Cycle, budgetary practices, procurement, and contracting.Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and change management skills to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships.
