Short DescriptionThe Clinical Pharmacy Specialist provides advanced clinical pharmacy services in various specialties to ensure optimal safety and cost-effective therapeutic regimens in collaboration with respective specialty disciplines.
Experience Required 0-2 years' experience required.3-5 years' experience preferred.Communication – Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers required. Education RequirementsHigh School/GED required.
Doctorate Degree required.
License/Certification Requirements New Jersey Pharmacy license (or eligible for licensure within 6 months) required.Postgraduate (PGY2) residency in required specialty required.Board Certification (in specialty practice) preferred.Special Requirements BS in Pharmacy if entry level degree was prior to PharmD degree.Hospital pharmacy experience (or clinically relevant experience).PGY2 required in specialty or equivalent clinically relevant experience.PGY1 required.Board certification (or eligible) if applicable.
