Clinical Pharmacist Operations Lead Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem Full time, 40 hours/week - 1st shift, every 3rd weekend (1st shift – 0615-1445 or 0700-1530) *SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE* + Job Summary: + The Operations Lead pharmacist will perform all duties as outlined in the Pharmacist job description. In addition, the Lead Pharmacist will provide leadership to assigned Pharmacy staff by proactively assisting in high level clinical tasks, operations, training and education, and act as a liaison between staff and the leadership team + Responsibilities + A Pharmacist is responsible for performance and/or supervision of various aspects of the medication use system including but not limited to: therapeutic recommendations, advocate for patient safety, preparation, distribution, monitoring, oversight of administration, and billing. Qualifications + Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification, required. PhD, preferred. Doctorate of Pharmacy, preferred. + Experience: Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy, required. + Licensure/Certification: + Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required. + Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification or other approved certification must be obtained and continuously maintained within 2 years of start date as applicable to the role; excludes PRN team members who may not be eligible to take certification exam, required. + Additional Skills (required): Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures.
