POSITION SUMMARY
The clinical pharmacist for ED will be a unit-based pharmacist that will verify the orders and provide clinical services for trauma, adult and pediatric emergency departments. They will be a drug information resource for the nurses, physicians, patients, and families. The clinical pharmacist will be expected to fulfill staff pharmacist responsibilities as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree required.
Experience:
Pharmacy practice residency in emergency medicine or equivalent hospital experience (3 postgraduate years) with board certification
License : Current registered pharmacist license in the State of Florida
Certification:
Pharmacy license; BLS within 30 days of hire (ACLS and/or PALS if code attendance required); Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or other specialty corresponding with practice area.
