Job Summary 🌟 Now Hiring: Clinical Pharmacist – Cancer Clinic Location: Triad Region (Cancer Institute at Forsyth Medical Center as well as Thomasville Medical Center, Kernersville Medical Center, Mt. Airy and Greensboro as needed) Schedule: PRN, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (no weekends or holidays!) Typically 2-3 days per week if possible, up to 40 hours/week Novant Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist. In this full-time clinical role, you’ll work side by side with oncology providers and nurses to deliver exceptional patient care, verify chemotherapy orders (including hazardous sterile admixture), and support cutting‑edge clinical trials through collaboration with our Investigational Drug Services team What You’ll Do: Review, enter, and modify oncology treatment plans with precision and clinical insight. Verify oncology orders, including hazardous and non-hazardous sterile admixtures. Counsel patients, both for chemotherapy and symptom management. What We’re Looking For: Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy (required); Doctor of Pharmacy (preferred). Training/Experience: PGY‑1 residency or fellowship OR 2+ years in health‑system pharmacy (oncology experience strongly preferred) Licensure: Must hold a current pharmacy license or obtain one within 30 days via examination or reciprocity. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification. PharmD, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required. Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification, preferred. Additional Skills (required): Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures.
