Summary: The Registered Pharmacist is responsible for the safe, efficient administration of the medication distribution system and monitoring of the therapy of the patients served. LICENSURE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION Current license to practice as a registered pharmacist in the state of North Carolina. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS Supervision of pharmacy technicians, verbal ability and writing skills for effective communication, attention to detail, professional judgment regarding clinical information and confidentiality WORK ENVIRONMENT Potential exposure to toxic and caustic chemicals requiring the use of personal protective equipment. Potential exposure to TB and Blood borne Pathogens. Stressful, crowded working conditions and rotating shifts. Clean well-lit comfortable climate with moderate noise level.
