Description:

Position Purpose:
Oversee and ensure the safe, effective, and efficient distribution and use of medications for patients. Provide clinical pharmacy services and support healthcare teams in delivering optimal care.

What You Will Do:Supervise daily pharmacy operations, including medication management and quality improvement activities.Interpret and dispense medication orders while maintaining accurate patient profiles.Monitor patient medication therapy, ensuring safety, effectiveness, and compliance with legal standards.Provide clinical guidance and drug information to healthcare professionals and patients.Participate in patient rounds and collaborate with physicians to optimize medication plans.Maintain pharmacy inventory and handle procurement of medications and supplies.

Hours/Schedule:

Full-time, variable shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations.

Minimum Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy. PharmD preferred.Licensure: Current Iowa Pharmacist license.Skills: High proficiency in language, math, reasoning, and personal computing. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
