Responsibilities
The Clinical Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care services to patients, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes. The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for medication order review, pharmacokinetic monitoring, drug information provision, patient education, and participation in clinical initiatives.
Qualifications
Completion of a 4-year course at an accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or Pharm. D. degreeAt least two years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred or has completed an ASHP-accredited residency.Microsoft Office, Common Drug Information Software.Current CA Pharmacist Licensure required.Fire Safety card within 90 days of hire.Overview
