QUALIFICATIONS: • Degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. • Successful completion of criminal background check and drug testing as required. • Current license in good standing in the state(s) in which to practice. • Multi state licensure and professional certifications may be required. • Current and active immunizing pharmacist and CPR certification. • Desire to be a motivated caring professional with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with associates, customers, or other health care professionals, and the community at large. • Ability to achieve results and be flexible with minimal direction or supervision. • Willingness to work a flexible schedule consistent with a stimulating retail environment, including nights, weekends and holidays. • High levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. • Ability to handle multiple priorities and provide direction to associates. • Authorization to fill Medicare and Medicaid prescriptions. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Support retail locations in the completion of Medication Therapy Management cases (CMRs and TIPs) in all platforms. 2. Promote and participate in clinical programs and process initiatives to grow the pharmacy business including but not limited to medication synchronization and adherence monitoring. 3. Process prescriptions accurately and supervise others in the process accordance with current laws, ethics, and company policies. 4. Provide outstanding customer service and patient counseling in the areas of prescription and OTC medications, durable medical equipment, and other evolving health care needs. 5. Provide expertise and counseling on health monitoring, disease states, and immunizations. 6. Comply with all state and federal laws pertaining to pharmacy practice while adhering to established company standards of practice. 7. Maintain and ensure confidentially of patient and company information. 8. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Partner with Manager of Pharmacy Clinical Services and Manger of Pharmacy Health Services. 2. Responsible for professional and business operations within the pharmacy department. 3. Monitor the performance and duties of clinical program technician. 4. Observe and adhere to all company policies and the pharmacy standard practice manual. Rev 10/16 5. Perform immunizations according to company's standard practice and expectations. 6. Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance always in accordance with company personal appearance policy. 7. Maintain solid communication within the department and throughout the organization. 8. Support company safety standards. Communicate any need for equipment repairs or maintenance work needed. Keep work area free from debris and safety hazards. 9. Perform all other duties and/or projects as assigned. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Sit or stand 100% of the time with occasional walking short distances. 2. Accurate and efficient typing skills. 3. Using computer screen/keyboard/mouse/biometric devices 100% of the time. 4. Use hands frequently and continuously for keyboard and computer work to process prescription information. 5. Ability to use staplers, calculators, communication, and computer systems frequently. 6. Have sufficient visual acuity and audio capability to process prescription and service customers by phone.
