Clinical Pathway Specialist, Dermatology

Join IQVIA in a field-based role supporting hospitals to improve collaboration, streamline care pathways, and implement practical improvements in clinical practice. You will work directly with healthcare professionals to help translate ideas into real, sustainable change.

Job Overview

As a Clinical Pathway Specialist, you will partner with hospital teams to support multidisciplinary projects that improve how care is delivered across specialties.

You will work on-site with stakeholders to understand existing workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the implementation of practical solutions within hospital settings.

You will:

Support the delivery of hospital-based projects focused on improving care pathways and coordinationMap current workflows, roles, and collaboration across departmentsHelp define project objectives and translate them into clear, actionable stepsWork closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and hospital teams to drive alignmentFacilitate meetings, workshops, and working sessions with clinical teamsAct as a neutral partner to support collaboration and shared ownershipSupport implementation of agreed changes into day-to-day clinical practiceProvide education and practical support where needed to enable adoptionCapture insights on challenges, unmet needs, and best practicesShare structured feedback to support continuous improvementCollaborate with internal teams to ensure coordinated deliveryEnsure all activities are carried out in line with applicable standards and compliance requirementsQualifications & Experience

Required:

Experience working within hospitals or healthcare environmentsStrong understanding of how multidisciplinary teams operate in clinical settingsExcellent interpersonal and facilitation skillsStructured and practical approach to problem solvingAbility to translate complex situations into clear, workable actionsFluent in Dutch and EnglishWillingness to travel across the NetherlandsValid driving licence

Preferred:

Clinical or nursing backgroundExperience supporting pathway optimisation, service improvement, or hospital projectsExposure to chronic disease management or long-term care pathwaysExperience working across multiple stakeholders in a healthcare setting
