**Posting Details** Position Information **Job Title** Clinical or Tenure Track, Asst/Assoc/Full Professor, Medical Oncology **Posting Number** P2157F Position Summary Information **Job Description Summary** The Department of Clinical Sciences at the Auburn University (AU) College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM ) is seeking applicants to fill a full-time, 12-month/year appointment. Depending on experience, qualifications and interest, the successful candidate may be appointed to either a tenure-track (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) or non-tenure track (Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) position in medical oncology. **Responsibilities:** The successful candidate will participate in teaching, clinical service, and research/scholarly activity. Teaching responsibilities include the clinical and didactic instructional activities of professional veterinary medicine and postgraduate training programs related to medical oncology. Clinical and research collaboration with other hospital services and departments is welcomed. Clinical service and research responsibilities are negotiable and will depend on the successful candidate’s interests and the type of appointment, i.e., clinical vs. tenure track. **Minimum Qualifications** Qualified applicants must hold aDVM or equivalent degree at the time employment begins, have completed residency training in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine or the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in oncology (ACVIM /ECVIM -Oncology), and be a Diplomate ofACVIM /ECVIM -Oncology or qualified to sit for theACVIM /ECVIM -Oncology specialty examination. Eligibility for faculty veterinary licensure in the State of Alabama is also required.
