Job Title: Clinical Operations Analyst Location: Dayton, Ohio Type: Contract Contractor Work Model: Remote Title: Clinical Operations Analyst ALTA is supporting a 6+-month contract opportunity working 100% remote. The Clinical Operations Analyst III reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of clinical operations and participates in development of solutions to improve or further leverage these functions. Essential Functions: + Work with key stakeholders to identify initiatives and tactics that support achievement of business goals and objectives + Manage tracking of initiative goals and progress against the goals + Partner with clinical functional leaders to develop work force management tools based on key metrics + Facilitate clinical work force management governance processes + Drive resolution processes for issues advanced by Clinical executive leadership + Work with key stakeholders to understand business requirements to assure alignment with organizational strategies + Facilitate root cause determination process and related remediation plans through the deployment of analytical and reporting resources + Understand the stakeholder's business culture and priorities to effectively identify business problems, assess proposed solutions, and represent the needs of stakeholders + Conduct requirements analysis, leveraging appropriate company and industry approaches and modeling techniques to develop requirements, document them according to corporate standards and procedures, and prioritize them for assigned areas + Identify inconsistencies and gaps in a complex business process + Assume a leading role in the review of reports and data for pattern identification, special cause variation identification, trend analysis, or other techniques; prepare and deliver summaries, recommendations, or alternatives of the analyzed information. + Work with business to develop a business case including return on investment, soft benefits and any regulatory issues + Participate in department meetings/activities and contribute to a collaborative team environment + Perform any other job duties as requested Education and Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or related field or equivalent years of relevant experience is required + A minimum of two (2) years of analytical experience is required + A minimum of five (5) years of health care operations, finance, work force management, or project management experience is required + Familiarity of the healthcare payer industry is required Competencies, Knowledge and Skills: + Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint + Strong strategic thinking sk9iills to identify innovative solutions + Understanding of business analysis principles, process, and tools + Proficient in customer relationship management tools + Understanding of a project lifecycle, including processes, techniques and tools + Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels + Exceptional written and verbal communication skills + Ability to work independently and within a team environment + Strong analytical skills + Effective listening and critical thinking skills + Ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams + Extensive experience working on multiple projects + Effective decision making and problem solving skills with close attention to detail + Time management skills, ability to develop, prioritize and accomplish goals with a sense of urgency + Ability to multi-task and remain flexible during organizational and/or business changes + Customer service oriented Licensure and Certification: + None System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
